Nude No More

by DeM0NiCk on March 30, 2009, under Tidbits

My friend Gary messaged me over MSN Messenger last Friday and told me that Threadless, an online apparel store, was having a sale. Now normally, I don’t usually purchase apparels online because I can’t try it on or feel the material and inspect the quality. But when I saw there were designer t-shirts going for as low as $5 (approx RM18) per piece…it’s kinda hard to resist. Well, Threadless are well known for a lot of cool prints on tees because they are designed by the community. T-shirt designs are submitted online and will then undergo public voting. A percentage of the submitted designs are then selected to be printed and sold online. Neat concept if you ask me.

Anyway, since there were tees that were going for $5, I wanted to buy a whole lot but sadly some of the nice designs I liked were either sold out, or there were no more sizes available. I managed to get these 4 tees though…

For those of you who are designer junkies or perhaps an avid online shopper, I seriously recommend you this site…not because of their sale period, but also just to take a look at all their brilliant t-shirt design offerings.

I paid $20 for the tees, and another $15 for the shipping, which amounts to just $35 (RM122). Sweet deal! Lets hope the quality is good and the sizes are right when it comes in 2-3 weeks time…I can’t wait!

  • Yea I know, but it will end up with a lot of "threads" sticking out instead of being threadless! LOL. Then again, if you go Bangkok, it's even cheaper!
  • If you want a cheaper alternative, I know this place in BB Plaza that sells fake Threadless tees for less than RM25 per piece. Quality not as good but many sizes and same print. I already got one of the ones you've posted. =) But of course not as great of selection for threadless... Malaysia apa pun tiru lah....
