Last Saturday, I met up with my former colleagues from my ex company for a Chinese New Year reunion dinner. I must say, there are only 3 types of events in the whole calendar year that you are able to get everyone (well almost everyone) together for a catching up session. These events include weddings, birthdays and of course Chinese New Year. While it seemed so hard to get everyone together any other day but during these events, I’m glad that everyone made it and it was an enjoyable night out. We started off having dinner at New Paris Restaurant here in SS2, PJ and then proceed for a drinking/catching up session in Plaza TTDI.

It’s that time of the year again…Chinese New Year! Yup…and CNY is usually associated with gatherings amongst family and friends, over eating, and also…gambling!

This year, my ex-college mates and I went over to Ernest’s new house all the way in Sg. Long for a reunion and also for a gambling session. Don’t ask me how to get there because all I can say that it’s really far away. It’s in a new housing area, therefore, you can’t even find the place using a GPS device. The funny thing was, the one that used the GPS device got lost while the others using traditional print out maps managed to get there earlier without getting “too lost”.

Lunch was served with the traditional Yee Sang along with other food, and then the gambling session begins..

We all managed to win the banker who is Ernest on the last few rounds of Blackjack. Ernest probably doesn’t have money to buy milk powder for his daughter now…hahahah! I was probably the biggest winner because my bets were all maximum to begin with…muahahaha. Anyway, it was really fun and it was great to catch up with everyone again…
