Oh My Dear Candice…

by DeM0NiCk on December 29, 2008, under Tidbits

It happened just so sudden. I wasn’t prepared for it. It was a rainy night, and I was traveling back with her after a night out with some friends when it happened. She began to act weirdly, as though she is trying to tell me something. I just ignored and carried on. She reacted even more violently….choking, shaking, gasping for air…as though it was a sign that her time is up. Yet I pushed her to go even further, thinking that she was just being emotional and will come to her senses soon. Then it happened…the next day…she didn’t respond to me calling. There wasn’t a sound…not even a whisper. Is she dead?! I panicked and called for help. A friend came over to help me try “resurrect” her but to no avail. I called for the professionals and they came and took her away in hopes of reviving her. I pray that she will be well and that everything will be ok again…and that it doesn’t cost me a bomb to fix my car!

Bet You Haven’t Seen This

by DeM0NiCk on October 14, 2008, under Tidbits

When living in Malaysia, it’s well known that you have to brace yourself for “surprises” when using public toilets. But just when you thought you’ve seen everything possible in these toilet, I bet you haven’t seen this…

Someone (or something!) was either washing their vegetables here or some guy puked this out! Whatever it is…its FUCKING GROSS! Sigh! Some people are just so inconsiderate and uncivilized.

As I was leaving the office today, I found baby Candice abused! She was totally innocent…just sitting there minding her own business but then was subject of a brutal hit and run!

Scratched and bruised!

TO THE MOTHER FUCKER WHO DID THIS…BEWARE! I HAVE EYES EVERYWHERE! TO MY COLLEAGUES WHO SPOT ANY CAR WITH BLACK PAINT MARKINGS ON THEIR BUMPERS..LET ME KNOW. THE MOTHER FUCKER WILL PAY!

Not So PULSE-ating

by DeM0NiCk on May 25, 2008, under Parties

I was at Pulse last night, a new clubbing spot supposedly doubt an “Ultra Club” in KL. Well, don’t be fooled by it’s name. I mean, with a name like Pulse, and “Ultra Club” (which is suppose to be higher than Super Club), one would expect high end, posh clubbing environment and really good pumping music right? Well…WRONG!

The club is situated at the new Grand Millenium hotel in Jalan Bukit Bintang. While no doubt the whole place looks super classy but the type of music there kinda ruin the whole mood and my impression of the place. Somehow, the music don’t go with the place. They have a band which were playing R&B that night (and also some Indian music towards closing time!) which called themselves “The Untouchables”. OMG! What a lame name! The place certainly reminded me of the old Zeta Bar in KL Hilton, where you will find some old men or even some Dato’ at one corner with young girls by their side trying to be happening. I saw an elderly man (maybe in his 50s) grinding and groping a young girl which I found really disgusting. To top it off, cover charge is a whopping RM50. Luckily, it was a friend’s birthday and we were on her guestlist. I would certainly not go there again unless they change their music selections.

On another note, I’m recuperating today. It’s been a party-ful weekend. On Friday night I was with 4 other friends in Finnegan’s at Desa Sri Hartamas and 3 of us finished a whole bottle of a Limited Edition Black Label (it was seriously so smooth that I can’t even feel it). We then proceeded to Cavell’s for more drinks because another bunch of friends were there and it was also the outlet’s anniversary. Needless to say I was super tipsy by the time I left the place, but still good enough to drive (don’t worry, I know my limits). After reaching home safely, I crashed on my bean bag, and was gone. Next morning I woke up to find myself sleeping on the floor, still clad in my jeans and t-shirt. Sigh….tomorrow is MOANDAY!

Say No To Lafite

by DeM0NiCk on April 29, 2008, under Tidbits

We had a company subsidised lunch at Lafite at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur. It was supposed to be fine dining and high class since it has won numerous awards and have excellent reviews about their food. Well, it was my first time there (since people like me can’t afford these places often) and I got to say, IT WAS SO DISAPPOINTING! The food wasn’t that great…the ambiance was just like any ordinary hotel terrace cafe (in fact…I’ve seen better ones…don’t let the picture on link fool you!). And to top it off, their staff weren’t really well trained due to a certain incident that happend. Ok, it’s too long for me to bitch about it since my colleague already blogged about it, I shall leave it for you to read here.

Would I go back there again? Are you nuts?!! After all that…I don’t think it’s worth the money. It’s not that I can’t afford it….but seriously…RM25++ for a glass of fruit juice that is not even freshly squeezed? I think NOT!
